For Day 5 I chose to do more ornaments with glitter.  These are a different style than the ones that I did on Day 2.
These 4 are paper mache shaped ornaments that I purchased at Michael's.  I used various glitters from Stampin' Up, Martha Stewart, Tim Holtz, and old fashion glass glitter.  I adhered the glitter to the paper mache with modpodge.
For the Star I used my foam brush and started out brushing one section at a time, then glittered and then moved on to the next section.
The stocking was fun to do!  I brushed on the silver/white section first.  Glittered all the silver/white, then moved to the red.  How fun would this stocking be with a name glittered on the top?  I haven't done that yet because I am not sure what name I want to put on it.

Tip:  I did have to use 2 coats of glitter for each of these ornaments.

This ornament is no different than the others.  I did have to do one section at a time.  First I did all the red then all the green.  After 2 coats of glitter and after it had dried, I ran silver stickles glitter glue down the folds.  I think the silver stickles glitter glue made the colors pop a bit.
I do think the tree was the easier of the bunch.  :)  The only part that needed sectioned off was the stump of the tree.  I did all the green first then moved on to the brown  After 2 coats of glitter and after it had dried, I took some red stickles glitter glue and did little dots for decoration.  I punched the star out of Stampin' Up Glitter paper for the star.  The star is glued on with hot glue.

Tip:  To get the glitter to not fall off you can either modpodge over it, since it will dry clear, or you can use Aqua Net hair spray.  You spray the hair spray on top of it after you are finished with it and it has dried.  You may still see some glitter fall off but it won't be quite as bad.
