Elzybells are in the House!

Cards_anna_005 I wanted to do something fairly simple.  So I decided that I wanted a white background sheet and the color being in the image, matting, and ribbon.  I really love how this turned out.  You can even see the glitter glue on the wings.  :)

What do you think of this card?  Is it too plain?

Have a Groovy Day

Cards_anna_009 I thought this Bella Stamp was super duper cute.  The sentiment is by A*muse.  I colored her in with my prisma colored pencils and blended with gamsol.  I used my circle punches for the images.  The paper came from my stash I got while I was in Tennessee visiting my mother.

"Happy Valentines Day"

Enjoy your day and I hope you have that special someone to spend the day with.

This "MOOSE" BE LOVE! & I Love You

Cards_anna_002 How "stinkin" cute is this stamp?  The sentiment is not on the same stamp as the moose image.  I had to have this as soon as I seen it.  The image is big enough to take over the main part of this 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 card.

I used my red sakura pen to add dimension to the hearts.

This was colored with my prisma colored pencils and then I used gamsol to blend colors.  Staz on was used to stamp the images.  A black zig bullet/fine tip pen was used to add the lines on the edges.  The red card stock is a metallic red.  (not sure of the brand,  it was in my stash)

Cards_anna_008 "I love you"  Card.  is a quick and simple card that was whipped up.  I love this pattern paper.  The "X's" & "O's" are a great meaning of Valentines Day.

The Stamp is a $1 stamp I picked up at Michaels.  I used my Prisma Markers to color the red part of the image.  Stickles "Star Dust" was used on top of the red to give it some shimmer.  I used my Maarvy Giga Mega punch.  (which ever the pink one is...lol)  I used my 1/16 hole punch to add the lacey look around the scalloped circle.

The black w/ white polka dot ribbon is by May Arts.

I really like the simplicity of this card.  It is so simple but it says a lot.

The big day is tomorrow.  What is your plan for that special someone?

I told my husband not to get me anything.  I am going to be gone next week end to Cape May, NJ for a crop.  We are leaving Friday and heading back on Sunday.  So my gift from my husband is my "Hotel room" for the week end..lol

Have a great night everyone.  I am off to bed.

You Knock My Socks Off!

Cards_anna_007 I am not sure who this stamp is by.  I have had it for a while and this is the first I used it.  How ironic is that...  A stamp that I haven't used..  ha!

On a side note.  I love to use pattern paper and stamps together.  It adds so much more to your art work.  The markers I used are Pisma Colored Markers.  I really like to use my 1/16 hole punch with my scalloped punches.  I think it gives it a lacey look.  The ribbon is ribbon I got with my friend Barbara.  She knows first hand of my ribbon addiction.

Yesterday I had a great stamping day.  I will have more to show you tomorrow.

We were suppose to have a wintery Mix weather this week end.  Needless to say it only rained a little bit.  I was kinda hoping for snow so I can get some good pictures before it gets warm again.  Maybe next time.

P.s.  I bought some ellzybells stamps and I can't wait to show you what I did...  :)

Crop Update

Feb_2nd_012 Well Needless to I didn't do my 10 page goal per say..  But I did do this cute book.  I am so pleased at how well it turned out.  The last page is 12 inches long.  That gives you a general idea on how big this book is.  All the products used are TLC (Top Line Creations) products.

TLC has quite a few different word books.  PARTY, ADORE, STORY, 12345, and I am sure there is more that I can't think of right now.

I had a great time at D & L crops a lot crop on Saturday.  I did shop, shop, talk, eat and did the above book.  Oh I just thought of something.  If you count each page of the book then I did succeed my goal for Saturday.  Do you think that counts?  lol

Darlene over at Scrappin Wagon has a blog.  Be sure to check her out she does some beautiful work.  And she has some great deals on her website.  SHE HAS THE FAMOUS GRUNGE BOARD by Tim Holtz.  I did manage to buy 2 kinds.   When you shop from her please tell her that Anna sent you.

The super-bowl is now over.  The Giants Won.  17-14.  NOOOO I didn't watch it.  I caught the last 35 seconds of the game..  he he.  I spent the rest of the time messing up my scrap room by creating another mini book.  Which I'll show you tomorrow.

Good night all and be sure to check out Darlene's on line store and her blog.     Feb_2nd_013

12708_cards_002 I have had this Bella stamp for a while now and just now got the chance to use it.  I really love how it turned out.  I started out attempting to do Taylors sketch but found out that I had no room to do the circle on the left.  So this is what I ended up with.

I did get in the mail this week a "GREAT" package from my friend Barbara in Florida.  Her and her granddaughters packed it full of "cupcake" theme items and "froggy" theme items.  as well as a cute Boyd's Bear that has a stitched sentiment "Friends are Flowers that Never Fade Away".  How adorable is that?  Thanks Barbara!  I love everything in it.

I also got my package from EP.  I am looking forward to playing with my new Stampendous stamps.  The monkeys and the cupcakes.

I also ordered this cute clear stamp set from Stampers Dream.  Michelle has some great stamps and other "must haves" so be sure to stop by.  Tell her Anna sent you.

Be sure to check out her BLOG she has some great samples of items she sell in her store.

I am super excited.  I am going to a crop tomorrow.  YAY ME!  I am all packed up and ready to go.  I really do hope I can get some pages "completed"!  I am sure you all know how it is to go to a crop and you shop, talk,  shop some more, eat, talk some more,  and maybe get 1 page done.  I am shooting for the stars tomorrow.  I have enough stuff packed for about 10 pages.  Keep your fingers crossed for me.  It has been so long since I have just went to a crop and sat down and did something for myself.   As a back up if I choose not to scrap I packed up some stamps.  OOHHH that reminds me let me pack some white card stock............  OK done.  Maybe I'll take my Bella binder.  nooo  I have enough packed.  (including my new Cupcake set and monkeys..)

Have a good night and I'll report tomorrow with the outcome of the crop.
