My project I am going to show you is using the brand new:  COWBOY TAKE ME AWAY.  You can find it in the shop by CLICKING HERE.

I love this stamp set.  The sayings are so stinkin' cute.  :)  You have to take a look.  

I distressed some edges with Brushed Corduroy Distress ink.  

I had a bandana that I cut a strip off of and wrapped it around my layers before glueing onto the base.  I had this star button that I tied onto the bandana.  Isn't this so cute?

Summer Lovin'

Hi Everyone,

Just another quick post today.  Things have been nuts around the Zuniga Household.  I will be leaving Friday for vacation.  Of course, I have to work Friday during the day.  I am ready to relax.  :)  

Today's card is showing you a card that was made for the Pink By Design blog.  This card had a collaborative effort of 2 people.  My sweet friend had the layout already designed and then I said, I have the perfect sentiment for it.  So here it is.  What do you think?  Isn't it so cute?

Purple Dinosaur?

Hi Everyone,

Hope you all had a wonderful Fathers Day week-end.  We cooked out out our house.  I did manage to get a little bit of spring cleaning done.  I still have a few more "hot" area's to hit.  However, it will have to wait until we get back from Tennessee..  

Today's card I am showing you is featuring "Paper Smooches" Stamps.  

I love the little dinosaur.  I couldn't resist coloring him purple.  :)  I colored the little fella' in with my copic markers and I used a technique I learned at my copic certification class.  The technique is where you use a old cloth (I used the inside of a sock that had a hole in it and cut it into little pieces) And you put bleniding solution on the fabric then blot your image to add texture.  

I used Elegant Eggplant ink pad and a sponge to add ink around the edges, rather heavily I might add...

This is going to be short and sweet.  I am working today and need to get back so I can go home at some point today.  :)

You Make Me Smile

Hi Everyone,

I am still playing catch up at my day job.  It has caused me to work a little later than usual and going in a little earlier than usual.

For today's card, I am showing you a pocket card.  

The card is formed like a  "library pocket" card.  

The flower on the front is using "Crepe" paper and rolled into a circular motion on a circle base that has adhesive on it.  After I finished rolling it, I spritzed it with Gold Mr Huey's spray.  Add a little rhinestone to the center and it is finished.  I did a little stitching around the front of the card to add some texture.

Another View of the "Olde Curiosity Shoppe" Altered Birdhouse...

Hi Everyone,  

I wanted to show you another view of the "Olde Curiosity Shoppe" Altered Birdhouse.  And I wanted to give you a "little" reminder that THIS THURSDAY is my class at Scrap-a-Doodle Doo.  

If you love "ALL" things Tim Holtz and Graphic 45 this class is just for you.  

I love the Graphic 45 "Olde Curiosity Shoppe" paper line and it works just beautifully in this project.  I know it looks very detailed but it really isn't that hard.  Let me show you how simple it is to put this together.

TODAY IS MY DAY TO POST OVER AT 

PINK BY DESIGN

Boy am I early today....

Hi Everyone,

THE DAY IS HERE.  The day that I leave for my Copic Class.  :)  woo hoo.  However, I had to be at work at 8am this morning and boy am I sleepy.  (Not so much fun) Only until 1.  Then I am out the door to pick up a friend and then we are heading to Boston for the rest of the week.  

Today's Card is a card I did in the Stamp-a-Stack class.  Using Hero Arts Stamps and some copics to color in the image.  

Add a little Glossy accents to the little red heart and add some stickles to the icing of the cupcake and then you are done....  :)

Simply the Best- Criss Cross Card

Hi Everyone,

It's Monday, Monday, Monday...  :)  But tomorrow is my Friday.  :)  YAY me.  :)  I am leaving tomorrow for my Copic Certification class in Boston.  However, Saying that..  It makes today a very long day as I have lots to still do before I go home for the day. 

This card here is one that I made for my Pocket Class at Scrap-a-Doodle Doo.  

This card is called the "Criss-Cross Card".  I may have to do a tutorial on it, on how to put it together.  :)

The picture below just shows the pull out tag for your journaling.  I used Ali Edwards Stamps that are by Technique Tuesday.  I just love her hand writing.  :)

Hi Everyone,

TGIF.  Finally made it to the end of the week.  You would think that with being off on Monday, that this week would have gone by quickly.  But it was a slow week for me.  

Today's card is a pocket card.  The Flowers pull out the top to reveal a tag that you can put your secret messages.  

The flower stamp is from Heartfelt Creations.  I colored the image in with my copic markers.  And the small tag and "smile" sentiment is from Paper Trey Ink.
