Action Wobbler: Miss You

Hey There Everyone,

This Monday is turning out to be a pretty day.  I actually hear birds chirping.  :)  That's a good sign that spring has arrived.
For today's post I am showing you a card I made with "Simon Says Stamp" stamps.  I love this light bulb.  I think it is so cute with the heart in the center.

I colored the image in with my copic markers and then did a little bit of fussy cutting to cut out the image.  And used my action wobbler to pop it up on the card.  The paper is from Basic Grey "Hey Girl" line.
The white background is stamping with Hero Arts Unicorn White ink pad.

I got this stamp in my Simon Says Stamp monthly card kit.  So much goodies in the kit that I can't wait to play with it some more.

Hope you are having a great start to your week & Thanks for stopping by!

Ink Splats on Cards

Hey Everyone,

All I can say is TGIF.  What a busy week this has been at work.  So glad the week end is here.  I plan to do a little bit more organizing in my Craft Room and do a little bit of scrapbooking.  What are your plans for the week end?  Any plans of crafting the week end?

I was fortunate enough to go over to a friends house Thursday after work and stamp for a few hours.  Today's card is one of the 4 designs we made.

I used Tim Holtz Stencil to create the splat with Hero Arts Ink pads and sponge daubers.  The stamped image on both cards came from My Favorite Things and I stamped with Versamark and embossed with fine black embossing powder.
*Tim Holtz Layering Stencil SPLATTERS THS009 *My Favorite Things BOLD STATEMENTS Clear Stamps MFT *Clearsnap Colorbox ART DAUBERS 6 Pack 106051 *Hero Arts Shadow Ink Pad BUTTER BAR Mid-Tone AF207 *Hero Arts Shadow Ink Pad ORANGE SODA Mid-Tone AF224*Hero Arts Shadow Ink Pad ULTRA PINK Mid-Tone AF263 2014*Hero Arts Shadow Ink Pad LIME GREEN Mid-Tone AF262 2014
The embossing of the black adds so much to this flat easy card.  To finish off the card & because the card base is black- I cut another piece of white card stock to go inside the card and added another splat on the bottom right.
Thanks for stopping by today.

SMILE with Heidi Swap Cards

Hey there everyone!  Happy Wednesday!

This past week end I went on a little road trip with a friend to a local scrapbook store that is closing.  (insert sad face here).  I was lucky enough to get a Copic Air Compressor for my copic markers for cheap.  I am so excided that I can't wait to play with it more.  (Other than me just spraying my markers to get the feel of the machine.)  Then on Sunday she was sweet enough to come by and help me clean and organize my scrap room a little bit.  ANNNDDD..  She walked away with quite a bit of goodies.  :)  I'm really happy to share and glad it is going to a good home.

I have made this card a few weeks ago and finally got a chance to take the photo this morning to share with you today.
I LOVE LOVE Heidi Swapp's products.  When she first came out with the card sets and I seen them at Michaels, I picked it up and put it back.  And then I picked it up and put it back again.  While I was in Tennessee for a few weeks I decided to pick it up again with the intention to make some cards while I was visiting.  However, It didn't work out that way.  If you read my Saturday's Post I was bitten by the Knitting bug and that took over my time.  When I got home from my trip I unpacked all my luggage and was really glad I didn't put my Heidi Swapp Products back this last time I went shopping and I made the card above using the supplies I purchased in Tennessee.

On this card I used Blush & Sea Foam Spray along with the chipboard pieces.  I matted the card onto Stampin' Up Pool Party Cardstock for extra Stability.

Each of the cards come with a coordinating envelope.  I love the card sets.  If I had only one wish, I just wish they were a little thicker as they are a bit thin.
Thank you so much for stopping by today

New Found Hobby....

Any Guesses????

I have been bitten by the knitting & Crocheting Bug.  :) I am currently signed up with Continuing education Adult School locally taking a knitting class for beginners.

See that fun picture at the top.  That is my Yarn Haul I picked up at Genuine Purl in Chattanooga, TN a few weeks back.  I can truthfully say that I am addicted to yarn.  It is all so pretty.
This above picture is my scarf that I am still knitting.  The first project.  woo hoo.  Almost there..  I probably would have been finished by now if I would have brought my extra skein to Tennessee while I was visiting.  I even went to the local Michaels and they didn't carry this particular pattern.
My first crochet flower.  I was sitting in bed YouTubing and thought why don't I just make this with the video.
The above picture is my first Hexi-puff for my Bee Keepers quilt. I am assuming this is going to take me FOREVER to complete.  Here is a link to what it looks like finished:  Tiny Owl Knits  I am pretty proud of myself since I am a new knitter.

To make the BeeKeepers Quilt you will need about 300+ hexipuffs.  One down- and many many more to go.  :)

If you are interested in the Bee Keepers quilt you can get a kit from Knit Crate.  Simply by clicking here:  KNIT CRATE The above picture is of what I got in the kit.  Not pictured is the instructions and the video link instructions.

Funny thing.  Not only am I a Beginner Knitter.  But I also am a Beginner Crocheter.  I can't just do one thing at a time.  I have to go all out.  lol!  The above is just the beginning of my blanket.  :)  Will be finished in the year of 2040.  lol  Just kidding.  I hope it don't take me that long...
Thanks so much for stopping by today and HAPPY KNITTING!

Beautiful People Like You

Hey there everyone!

Happy first day of Spring!

This past Saturday I went over to a friends house to stamp some cards.  Of course I didn't have anything planned.  What we like to do is we each come up with 2 designs and then we each make 3 of each design.  That way we leave with 12 cards with 4 different designs.  Cool Huh?

One of my cards was using this stamp set by Stampin' Up called People like you.  (I think that is the name of it) and I just inked up various parts of the stamp with markers then stamped the image on white card stock.  Did a little fussy cutting and then adhered to my card using foam dots.

I hope you enjoy your First Day of Spring!  Thanks for stopping by today.

Mini File Folder

Hey Everyone,

Today I want to share with you a little gift I made for my co-workers.  This little cute file folder was inspired by my friend who shared with me how to put this together.

This was used using my WRMK envelope maker.  Add some pattern paper with twine and then top it off with some Stampin' Up stamps and punches.  Add a little Ghirardelli Chocolate inside and you are good to go.
Everyone who I gave them too loved them.
