I stink You're sweet

Img_0016b Hmmm...  Have I mentioned that I love the Pun Fun stamp set in the Stampin' Up! catalog?

I really like how this card turned out.  I started out CASING someone Else's card and ended up doing my own thing.

All product and items used are Stampin' Up!.

I did get my Whipper Snapper order yesterday.  I can't wait to sit down and ink those babies up.  They are so freakin' adorable..

OK we are off to go garage saling this morning.

Happy Saturday!

Whipper Snapper

Ohhh forgot to mention my Whipper Snapper order is coming in today!  YAY!  Wait until you see the stamps I bought.  They are super adorable.  I love them.

I know it is sad when you say you love your stamps.  But I honestly do.  My husband thinks I am crazy.  lol  I can come in my room (scrapbook room) and spend hours on hours in here.  I tell him that I love my stamps and my ink and my paper.  And he just shakes his head.

Me + my stamps + my inks + my paper= a very special bond.

Ok I have lost it.  Going to go now.  before I embarrass my self even more.  :)

Birthday Card

Img_0002e This is a card I made on Sunday when a friend of mine came over to stamp with me.  Well She did a lot more than I.  I managed to surf the net all night so I made 2 cards.  and this is one of them.

All supplies used are Stampin' Up! except the brad.  The brad is a Jumbo eyelet that I know SU carries but I didn't get it from them.  And from looking in my bag of eyelets it was my last one. lol  I have to order more.

I think I found the eyelet idea on the SCS site.  This card was super quick and easy.  10 min top!

There is a new scrapbook store opening here in NJ.  super excited.  I am trying to decide to go or to not to go.  If I go, I know I'll spend money.  I have lots of things planned for this summer so I should be saving.  (a week end crop in Pennsylvania in about 2 weeks, Stampin' Up convention at the end of July in Utah, a trip to Tennessee to visit my family) hmmmm..  And honestly I don't need anything.  I have way to much stuff that I don't use as it is.  I'll let you know what I decide tomorrow.

Happy Friday!

Paper:  All Stampin' UP!

Inks:  All Stampin' up! except the Stonegray Staz-on

The little clear drops at the bottom of the card are jar filler's I bought at Michaels for $2 for a bag.  (I have no idea on how I will ever use that many....)

Enjoy!

All papers and items used are Stampin UP.

The name of the set is Tart and Tangy out of the mini catalog.

Scissor Charm

Img_0038 How cute is this little guy!  This is a Washer from our Home Depot and White Staz-On with red gingham ribbon to tie on to the scissors.

This is from our Stampin' Up Group Shoe Box swap.  Dawn Rapsas is the one who sponsored this "shoe" box.  I love it.  I will be making a trip to Home Depot to get some washers.  :)

Your a Blast

Img_0033 Img_0034

This is a project I made for my up line shoebox swap.

I used Pun Fun stamp set and Seeing Stars wheel.  I colored image in with Watercolor pencils and blending pens.  Used the ticket corner punch to notch the corners and added pewter brads.  The sheer ribbon is to hold the 2 Hershey's Candy bars together.  Card Stock used is Ultra smooth white, Purely Pomegranate, and Sky Blue.  For the wheel the I used Sky Blue on both and I used Black Staz On to stamp the rocket Image.  I love this little rocket.  It is so cute.  It is what drawn me to this stamp set.  Hope you enjoy.

OT:  American Idol.  so who do you think is going to win American Idol next week.  Is it going to be David Archuleta or David Cook?

Personally I am rooting for David Cook.  He rocks!

Bath Salts

Img_0007a Img_0012a Img_0013a This envelope was cut in 1/2 and 1/2 of it was crimped and the other 1/2 not.  This is what makes it fit inside the other.  I then used the Bloomin' Beautiful stamp set and colored in with markers.

This was part of teh class I did at Barbara Dykhouse.  Don't forget to take a look at her blog.

Edit:  I am not sure why there is a big emty spot between teh pictures.  There are only 3 pictures.   I tried to delete the space but It didn't work.  Sorry!

Dare to be FABULOUS

Img_0022a This is a card I did today.  I finally used my Fabulous Flowers set.  I have had this set for about 6 months now.  Don't shake your heads at me I know you have some stamp sets that haven't been used yet.  :)

I used Sahara Sand card stock, Ultra smooth white, and DSP in Round Up.  (I believe it is retired)  The ribbon came from my stash.  And of course my favorite....  The ticket corner punch.

Hope you all had a wonderful Mothers Day.

I spent the day in my craft room.  And this is all i have to show for it.  lol  What a fun day!

Have a wonderful Bloggin' Day!

Bloomin' Beautiful

Img_0002a This is from a class I took this past Wednesday night.  I absolutely love these adorable little frames.  The only problem is, is that I can't find them at target.  :(

All products used are Stampin' Up except the frame. The ribbon came with the frame.

We cut Watercolor paper down to size and stamped in black Staz On and used SU's watercolor brush and colored in the image.

Colors used are:  Really Rust, Ruby Red, More Mustard, Old Olive, sky blue and Blue Bayou.

Barbara Dykhouse is new to blogging but is a very talented stamper.  So please take a look at her blog. Here is her link.

P.S.  Happy Mothers Day!  It is a Bloomin' Beautiful day!  Enjoy it!

Garden Whimsy

Img_0014a This is a card I did for a "Shoe Box" swap that I participated in last week end.

All product used is Stampin Up!  (the ribbon I don't believe is SU, but in the Shoe box swap I used the white sheer ribbon)

A little inside note:  On the blue card stock I used the 1/2 inch circle punch by SU! and punched out a bunch of dots.  and adhered them to the blue so it added a little dimension.

Just to give you all an inside note on my life....  I am no longer part owner of a scrapbook store.  Although it was fun, it was a lot of work.  I have chosen to go a different route and work more at my "day" job.  The only thing I will really miss with the store is my friends I have met through there.  You guys are the best.  and remember you can email me anytime.

I did sign up for Top Line Creations (TLC) and after 2 months they totally changed their structure to a buyers club.  So I have been praying, thinking, praying some more as to what I want to do.....  weather it be staying with TLC or go back to my "passion" which is Stamping.  CTMH was having a great deal but again my real passion has been Stampin' Up.  So 2 weeks ago Mothers Day (Sunday) I signed up with Stampin' UP.  So yep you guessed it I am back as a stampin' Up demonstrator and will be going to convention this year.  YIPPIE!  I am putting together some classes and such.  so keep your eye's peeled.

OK you guys are officially up to date with me..  :) Look for more projects this week!
