Blast off 1

Sherri Caramico:  Time Piece Collection

Sherri totally out did herself on this project.  There is a lot of inking, distressing, painting, altering and more going on on this canvas.  This is a fabulous addition to your wall art in your own home or to give to that special friend as a gift.

Sherry

Adina Medina:  Gabrielle Collection

Adina did such a beautiful job on creating the Mini Book.  This is a great way to show case some special photo that you don't want to close up in an album but would rather leave it out on a shelf.  You are using some vintage lace and distressing the edges.  The cool colors of this collection is very flattering to any photo.

Hello Scrappers, Stampers and Bloggers,

Today I am showing you the class I did last night at Scrap-A-Doodle Doo.  We had a fabulous turn out and a wonderful time.  I'd like to think that everyone left with learning a few new techniques on how to use Tim Holtz Distress Stains.

Purple Lips

Good Morning Scrappers and Bloggers,

I am so glad Monday is over.  :)  But only wish it was Friday.  :(  How many of us just wish our life away?  That would be me.  I did manage to leave work early today.  I left at 3pm to go get my much needed hair cut and I bought some new shampoo and conditioner by Paul Mitchell,  Lavender Mint.  I am going to give it a shot as it does smell pretty good.

As much as I am wishing it was Friday, I am happy today is Tuesday.  Because that means tonight is my my much anticipated "Tim Holtz" Inspired layout class at Scrap-a-doodle Doo.  Woo Hoo.  I get to get INKY with some of my good friends.  There is still spots for 2 more folks so please contact the store to sign up today.  www.scrap-a-doodledoo.com or shoot me an email.  Tomorrow I promise to post a pic of the complete project we are making.

Now to the project at hand.  I titled this page appropriately.  PURPLE LIPS.  Because if you look closely you will see that Joseph has purple lips.  :)  So cute!  I honestly can't remember the name of this paper line.  I want to say it is Bo-bunny.

Thanks for visiting my blog today.

My Blog's New Look

Hi my fellow Stampers and Bloggers....

Check out my new home!  Do you like it?  I love the CLEAN AND COOLNESS of the design.

Thanks to my designer:  http://blog.vkdesigncompany.com/  I'm totally loving my new look.  :)

I hope you all had a great week end.  I sort-of took Sunday off from blogging and I played in my Stamp room.  First I skyped with my mom the 1st half of the day while prepping for Tuesdays class. (there is still room for 2 more if you'd like to sign up, contact the store, which is closed today, but you could leave a message) (or shoot me an email)  Then the 2nd 1/2 of the day I skyped with Karen We did manage to make a few cards.  :)  I haven't taken pictures of those as of yet.  But I will...  Soon.

The project I am going to show you today is:

Lee cutie

This little fella here is my nephew Lee.  Look at that little face.  He's such a cutie and a sweetie.

All the papers used are by Sass-a-frass.  They are another favorite.  (of course anything I buy is a favorite..lol)

Hope you all have a great Monday.  I am going to try to leave work a little early so I can go get my hair cut.  A much needed hair cut.  :)

Princess Bella

Holy Moly do I love Stella Rose by My Minds Eye.  :)  LOVE LOVE LOVE IT.  I need more embellishments.  I gotta go shopping.  :)

Renee The above picture is of my Sister Renee and little Princess Bella.  Bella is so prissy and little.  Not to mention just stinking cute.  I ordered the "Cherish" punch by Ek success and was dying to use it.  I really didn't have an angle I was shooting for  when I started the layout.  I just started Punching, stitching and then ended up cutting the center and then adding eyelets for lacing.  A little bit of prima bling and flower to finish it off.

Hope you have a great day.

Stamp Club Card

This card below is another card from Stamp Club at the "Doo".  This one, shown below, was for February Stamp Club.  Oh Boy what a full house we had at that one.  :)

One of my most favorite stamp companies is by far "Whipper Snapper Stamps".  LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM.   The Best part is that the front of the stamp takes the guess work out of coloring and shading.  Because, they show color on the front of the stamp.

Happy Birthday

All products to make the above card can be purchased at Scrap-a-Doodle Doo www.scrap-a-doodledoo.com

Have a great day!

Stamp Clubs at the "Doo"

On the third Sunday of the month is Stamp Club at Scrap-a-Doodle Doo.  We do one card and then the rest of the day you work on your own projects.  I try to do a technique in the mix so that you learn something new.  :)

The technique for March Stamp Club was Cracked glass.

MARCH STAMP CLUB

The card above features a stamp from "La Blanche".  Which is a company out of Germany I think.

We used Sponge Daubers and dabbed into Distress inks to color the stamp.  Then we Stamped the image onto Very Vanilla cardstock.  Inked up the Stamped piece of cardstock with versamark, all over covering the whole piece.  Using UTEE (Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel) pour over the versamark and heat with your heat tool until melted.  When cool, ink up the piece again with versamark and do a 2nd layer.  After this is completely cooled off you will then be able to fold that piece of cardstock in to different places cracking the embossing parts to your liking. The final step is using the frayed burlap distress ink direct to the embossing and rub across it being sure the ink gets into the cracks making them more defined.  Using a paper towel wipe off the access ink from the embossing part.  Finish by putting the rest of the card together.  And there you have it..  A run-down on how do this technique.

Hope you enjoy.  :)

My Tim Holtz Distress Frame

A few months ago I did this class at Scrap-a-doodle Doo all featuring:  7 Gypsies and Tim Holtz products.  :)  GOTTA LOVE THE DISTRESSING.  ;)

As many of you know I am Ranger Certified to teach using Tim Holtz products and this is a class that I am so passionate about.  I love the inking and getting your hands dirty while creating.  I am so into that.  :)  The more layers the better.  That's what my philosophy is.
