Stamp Clubs at the "Doo"

On the third Sunday of the month is Stamp Club at Scrap-a-Doodle Doo.  We do one card and then the rest of the day you work on your own projects.  I try to do a technique in the mix so that you learn something new.  :)

The technique for March Stamp Club was Cracked glass.

MARCH STAMP CLUB

The card above features a stamp from "La Blanche".  Which is a company out of Germany I think.

We used Sponge Daubers and dabbed into Distress inks to color the stamp.  Then we Stamped the image onto Very Vanilla cardstock.  Inked up the Stamped piece of cardstock with versamark, all over covering the whole piece.  Using UTEE (Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel) pour over the versamark and heat with your heat tool until melted.  When cool, ink up the piece again with versamark and do a 2nd layer.  After this is completely cooled off you will then be able to fold that piece of cardstock in to different places cracking the embossing parts to your liking. The final step is using the frayed burlap distress ink direct to the embossing and rub across it being sure the ink gets into the cracks making them more defined.  Using a paper towel wipe off the access ink from the embossing part.  Finish by putting the rest of the card together.  And there you have it..  A run-down on how do this technique.

Hope you enjoy.  :)
