Friend...

Hi Everyone,

Strength and Hope.  Everyone needs a little Strength and Hope every now and again.

This card was using the Stampin' Up Stamp Set called Strength and Hope.  I am not sure if this stamp set is still available.  I do know the pattern paper is retired.

Strength and hope 2Today is another short and sweet card and post.  Hope you all have a great day!

The Open Sea....

Hi Everyone,  I can not believe how cold it is right now after having such nice weather last week.  I had to layer up to sleep.

I hope to get into my room tonight to create a few things.  I am going through withdrawal.  But what I am truly missing is my scrapbooking.  I went to Disney in November and I have yet to scrapbook the first thing.  So sad.  I know.  But I am collecting a few "Disney" Supplies to get started.

This card here is an oldie but a goodie.  I posted it on my old blog but wanted to show my new followers.

Everything on this card is Stampin' Up.  I don't think this stamp set is available any longer.  It is one of my favorites.

Hello, Friend

Hi Everyone,

Monday, Monday, Monday...  That's all I can say.  :)

Today is going to be short and sweet.  I made this card while my boss was on a short vacation to golf in North Carolina last week.

I used a stamp from Hero Arts (flower) and colored it in with my copics.  Did a little Fussy Cutting to cut it out.  Matted it on paper from My Minds Eye.  Used some seam binding ribbon and scrunched it up across the card to make it look a little ruffle'y.

The stamp sentiment is from Pink by Design.

Happy Everything...

Hi Everyone,

It's Friday.  But not my Friday.  I have to work tomorrow.  At leaste it is only for 3 hours.  My boss has been out of town this week and I have really enjoyed it.  :)  I did manage to get a little stamping done on Wednesday.  This is one of the cards I made here.

I used a stamp by Whipper Snapper I bought it from Scrap-a-doodle Doo.  Colored my image in with my copic markers.  I added a sentiment stamp from Pink By Design from their  Hoppy Easter Stamp set that can be found by CLICKING HERE.

Easter
I used pattern paper from My Minds Eye 6 x 6 paper pad and added some seam binding ribbon to my card to finish it off.

Live Out Loud

Hi Everyone...

Every now and then we all need to just "Live Out Loud".  The pictures in this layout was taken in Tennessee when we went 4-wheeling.  It was so much fun.  I can't wait to do it again.

I am happy to say that this is day #4 of wearing flip flops all week this week.  Flip Flops = Spring.  :)  Makes me HAPPY!!

Today's layout is using some embellishments and paper from Basic Gray.  The title is actually from Daisy D's.  (I miss Daisy D's. )

Bee-Lieve in yourself and Get Well

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday was such a pretty day.  Very Nice weather here in New Jersey.  Today (Tuesday) is just the same.  I can't wait to get out of work and head home to open my windows to let some sunshine in.

For today's project I am going to show you the remainder 2 of the Stamp-A-Stack Cards we did on Sunday at Scrap-a-Doodle Doo.

This card below is using some Unity Stamps.  I'm sorry I can't remember the name of the set.  I love UNITY Stamps because they are deeply etched rubber.  You get a nice image when you stamp.  I colored the image in with my copic markers and then added a little glossy accents to the wings and mustache.

This card below is using one my favorite stamp sets from Paper Smooches.  I love the band aids and the little get well stamp.  Again, these images are colored in with Copic markers and fussy cut out and then pop dotted up on the card stock.

Thank yo so much for stopping by today.  See you on the BLOG tomorrow.

Happy Monday!

Good Morning Everyone,

Happy Monday.  Back to the day to day grind stone.  :)  Here's wishing you a wonderful week.

Yesterday I had my monthly Stamp-a-Stack at the Local Scrapbook Store "Scrap-a-Doodle-Doo".  This Months group of ladies were awesome.  We had a great time and from what I can tell everyone loved the projects we made.  We have 10 cards to make in 3 hours.  There are 5 designs and 2 of each card.

Today I am going to show you 3 of the cards we made (one of them you have already seen).  Tomorrow I'll show you the other 2.

The first card is the one you have already seen and more details can be found on this blog post:  CLICK HERE

Flying High 2

This card below is shown using a Stampin' Up punch on the corner of the ppaer and then outlining it with a white gel pen.  I used a sentiment stamp from Inky Antics "Cupcake Birdy" for the "Have a Great Day" stamped at the bottom of the card.  Then I used some paper from the Echo Park "Times & Seasons" 6 x 6 paper pack to accent the card.

 6

The card below is using clear stamp set from Hero Arts called "Monster Fun".  This cute little monster was colored in using my copic markes and then we did a little fussy cutting him out to pop dot the little guy off the page to add some dimension.  The stars were stamped with a white ink pad to the craft card stock.  Punched the edge of the turquoise card stock with the postage punch border punch.  Wrapped with twine to finish off the card.

7Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Be sure to check back tomorrow and I'll finish showing you the rest of the cards we made yesterday.

Bon Voyage

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday was my day to post on the Pink by Design blog Today I am going to share with you my post over there.  :)

Today's card is using Cruisin stamp set.  that can be found by CLICKING HERE in the Pink by Design Store

Cruisin

I did a search in the Silhouette Studio for something Cruise Related and came across a bunch of "Nautical" things that I had to put in my cart.  :)  When I was done shopping I chose this fun set of pieces to cut out.  I ended up using a mixture of cardstock of Stampin' Up and Bazzill.  The pattern paper as well as the stickers are from a Nautical package of Webster Papers. I finished off the card with some bakers twine and some gold brads.

Not pictured but on the inside of the card I matted the same pattern paper and then stamped in my black ink another saying from the Cruisin Set:  Wishing you calm seas and a gentle breeze

Thank you for stopping by today.

A Day at the Beach...

Hi Everyone,  Sorry I have been MIA the last day.  I am battling a head cold.  It is sad to say that it is getting the best of me.  Today was a beautiful day and it felt like it would be a nice day to be at the beach.  :)  I know a little early right..lol  but it was beautiful outside..  Maybe we could just sit on the beach..

Today I am sharing a scrapbook page that I haven't shared here before.  I did share it on my old old blog but wanted to show you all here.

A few summers ago, I went on a 2 week vacation to my mothers house in Tennessee. The main objective of this two week vacation was to rest, relax and spend some quality time with my mother. What ever the day brought is what we did and we had so much fun. The best things in life are those that are unexpected. And even though we didn't have anything in particular scheduled we found that that two week was pretty busy for us. We even jumped in the truck and decided to do a road trip to Florida to visit my all time favorite person. Barbara. and of course whats going to Florida without going to the beach.

The page below showcases just a few of the many pictures we took while there. And I still have more pictures of this trip to document.
007_edited-1

The page above uses the following supplies:
paper: Making memories, prima, bazzill
embellishments: Mudd Puddles (sand at bottom of page), Making Memories Fabric Tags, Tattered Angels (journaling), Prima Flower
Other: stampin' up markers to color in the Tattered Angels Journaling box. Glossy Accents on the shells of the journaling box.

Let's Chat

Hi Everyone...

Today I have a quickie card for you.  I ended up finishing my sisters "save the date" cards by printing the inside of them and getting them all ready to drop in the mail to her tomorrow.  So today's card is using pieces that was on my desk.  You will notice the same paper from the card from yesterday.  I even used the same set by paper smooches.

Lets chatIf you have noticed I have been doing lots of cards lately.  Hope you are not getting tired of them.  {SMILE}  I do have some scrapbook pages I want to work on that has been on my mind lately.  So I do see some other "crafty" items in the works here shortly.

Thank so much for stopping by for a visit.

Let the Good Times Roll...

Hi Everyone,

Happy "Hump" day.  :)  I am excited about today as I am waiting on the Fed Ex man to arrive here at work with my new copic markers.  I have about 50 new colors on their way.  WOO HOO..  The other great news on this HUMP day is that My Cameo shipped.  YAY.  And then the best yet is that Friday is just around the corner.

Now for today's project I wanted to use a stamp from Paper Smooches "Perpetual Bliss" set. This little vintage Juke Box just spoke to me.

Good Times Roll

I colored the image in with my copic markers then layered them onto paper from Stampin up (card stock) and My Minds Eye 6 x 6 paper from one of their 6 x 6 pads.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Lucky You....

And lucky me for knowing you..  :)

Hi Everyone,  Happy Tuesday.  Went to get my hair done last night.  I love how it turned out.  My friend did an awesome job.  It's a little shorter than what I am used too.  But I am loving it.  :)  Thanks Lu!!!

Lucky You
This cute little guy was stamped in Momento ink and then colored with my copic markers.  The Stamp is from Whipper Snapper and is called  O'Leary.  The sentiment stamp is from Stampin' Up and is from the set called "Afterthoughts".

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Save the Dates...

Hi Everyone,

I apologize for posting this a little bit late today.  Was in a hurry to get out the door this morning and didn't have time.  I had to get some things together for my after work activities.  They will include a new "DO" for my hair with some High Lights.  I am always nervous about this as I am so used to the same thing day in day out.  That "THIS" time I am wanting a change.  And then after my friend Lupita does my hair we are going to stamp together for a little bit.  (that's what I had a hard time choosing what to take this morning to cause me to run late..lol)

Not many of you know but now you do.  :)  My youngest sister is getting married and she asked me to make her "Save the Dates"..  I had no idea what to do.  I came up with these with a little inspiration from the net (the hearts to look like "HIM and HER") and I threw in a little bit of So Saffron to go with Alicia's colors.  I really love how they turned out.  All I need to do now is print the inside and drop them in the Mail to her on Wednesday.  :)

Wedding cardAren't they adorable?

Thanks for stopping by today and wish me luck with my hair.  :)

Rain or Shine and Happy Friday!

Happy Friday!

I'm at work right now and sending this a little later than usual.  It has been a rough day already.  Been on and off the phones dealing with Verizon and Cable Vision..  Sometimes I really just wish I could reach through the phone lines....... I'll just leave it at that.  :)

Today I am going to show you my project I posted over at the Pink by Design page.

Rain or shine 3 1 2012

Every other Thursday is my day to post and yesterday was my first day.  Here is all the fine details:

I printed the image on my printer on heavy duty card stock.  I have an HP photo smart printer.  (fairly old, about 7years)  I actually printed 2 of the images, incase I messed up my coloring.  (hey, it happens)  I colored my image with copic markers and then stamped my sentiment under the image.  After my image was colored in I layered my choice of card stock and pattern paper.  I wrapped my ribbon around the paper before gluing it down on the red card stock and pop dotted up my image from the card.  When I was done with card completely I used glossy accents to the umbrella and clear stickles to the rain.  (TIP:  this is so that you will not touch it again until it dries.)
