Brave Girl Boots

woo hoo.  Hump Day!  :)

I hope your rest of the week goes by quickly.  Today, I have an appointment with my personal Trainer.  I know I am going to be hurting when I am done.  Its the good kind of hurt..lol

Today's project is using a new stamp I have.  This is another one that when I first seen it I had to have it.  This stamp is by Unity & BraveGirls Club.

Brave Girl
There's alot of pink in this card.  :)  I stamped the image with Rich CoCoa Momento Ink and colored in with different shades of Pink copic markers.  The paper is from Basic Grey's Kissing Booth collection pack.

Project Life Update:  I know that last week I mentioned that I would use Wednesdays as my Project Life Update post.  When I first bought this kit, I had decided then that I wouldn't be doing it based on a "daily photo" project.  I am going to do it on a monthly overview.  Being that hubby and I do not have children it is kind of hard to have something to take picture of every single day.  If I have enough photo's to do 2 two page spreads then I will do 2 two page spreads.  If I have enough to do more then I'll do more.  But I will feel completely satisfied if I only have 1 page spread for the month.  :)  So That is why there is not an update photo today.  I will have one next week.  :)

Thanks for stopping by today.  Catch you again tomorrow with another creation from Anna's Craft Room.

Sweet-Hearts

Hi Everyone...

I cannot believe how nice it is outside for it to be January in New Jersey...lol I think the weather said it was suppose to hit 57 today.  The sun is shining and the beautiful sound of birds a chirping.  :)

I love Conversation Candy Hearts that Sweethearts makes.  I don't like the taste of them, Just that they are cute...lol  So when I seen this stamp set, I knew that I had to have it.  This set is by Hero Arts and has lots of different little sayings in it.  I cant wait to get my little die that will cut out the hearts.  :)  Yes, you heard that right.  They have a heart die that cuts out the hearts after you stamp them so you can give your project a little more dimension.  :)

Convo heart 2

This paper is all from Stampin' Up and so is the ink that was used.  The pattern paper is from WRMK 6 x 6 paper pack called "Love Struck".  All I can say is that I am definitely getting my moneys worth out of that little collection.  lol  The ribbon came from my ever so growing ribbon stash.  (still looking for a better way of storing my ribbon)

Convo heart 1
The above picture is just a close up of the details.

Hope you all are having a wonderful Tuesday.  And I'll catch you Tomorrow with another project from Anna's Craft Room.  :)

Dear Heart

Hi Everyone...

Hope you all had a wonderful week end.  I sure did.  It was nice and easy on the home front.  Sorting through paper work and cleaning out some things.  I was able to spend some time on Saturday with a dear friend and her darling little girl.  It was a time that was needed to spend away from home.  :)

I did manage to get a little card making time in on Sunday.  I only made 2 cards this week end.  :(  Something quick and easy.  I'd love to have done something with a little more detail with my silhouette but I really didn't have the time to do that.  :(  Soon.  really soon. {SMILE}...

OK...  Onto my Show and Tell for today.  As many of you know, One of my most favorite style is a little Shabby.  Maybe a year or so ago I bought some digital images off of Etsy.  (yes, its a bad habit to have...I love to shop Etsy....)  This was on one of the sheets I bought and I printed it up on Stampin' Up Very Vanilla Card stock and decided to make a card out of it.  :)  I love Hot Air Balloons and this particular image just called to me.  {Smile}

Dear Heart 1

I used Craft Card stock as my base, then Pretty in Pink Card stock and then the backside of one of Basic Greys "Hopscotch" collection sheets.  I used Stampin' Up's French Script background stamp in Rose Red on top of that piece of paper.  The next pieces of papers were also from Basic Greys "Hopscotch" collection.  These pieces were all from my scrap bin from last year.  (See what happens when you clean up.. You find all sorts of goodies that you can use..lol)

Dear Heart 2
The ribbon is actually some twill that was once white and I boiled some Store brand tea bags on the stove and dipped the twill in it to "Tea Stain" it.  :)  I love love love how it turned out.  (again this is something I did about a year ago and just decided to use it)  I inked all the edges with Stampin' Up's Crumb Cake ink pad and a sponge.

The little rose on top came out of my "Flower" drawer.  I used Fabri-Tac to glue it down.  That little sweetie isn't going anywhere...

The little Safety pen is from a package from Tim HOltz's line.

The "Dear Heart" sentiment is from Hero Arts Clear Stamps called "Sweet Hearts".  This is a new set this year from Hero Arts.  (Be sure to check back tomorrow to check out my other card from this set)  I used Stampin' Up's small oval punch for the "tag".  The Embossed heart is also a Embosslit from Stampin' Up.  It embosses and cuts it out.  I purchased the button from Paper Trey Ink as well as the button twine.

Last but not least is the edge border punch.  It is by EK Success.  I think the little pinking edge with the tiny hearts is simply adorable.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you Have a wonderful start to your week.

You Take the Cake!

Hi Everyone!

All I have to say is...  TGIF!  A little bit sad as I am not with my friends at the Scrap-a-Doodle Doo crop this week end.  :(  So if any of my friends who are at the crop read this.  I MISS YOU.  Have a drink for me.  :)

Anyway..  All is not lost this week-end as I will be crafting in my scrap-room. And hopefully skype with some great friends.  :)

Burthday turtle card
This card above was created with a Whipper Snapper Stamp.  I stamped the image and colored it a while ago.  I just never put it onto a card.  I colored the image with my copic markers.  (I'm sorry as I really don't remember which ones).  The card base is a package by AMUSE that I have been trying to use up.  I love that it has a white backing and when I embossed it with my swiss dots and Big shot machine the white shows through..  I used a scrap strip of white polka dotted pink paper from my WRMK 6 x 6 paper pad for their "Love Struck" collection and layered it onto Stampin' Up's "Pool Party" strip of card stock.  I inked the edges of the pool party with Tempting Turquoise (I ran out of Tempting Turquoise card stock and needed to improvise.)  The white "banner" was cut out of Shimmery White card stock and the buttons sewn on with Paper trey ink "cream" Button thread and their turquoise buttons.  I pop dotted my image on to the card stock to add some dimension.  After all of this was put together, I used my "Spica" pens and added more shimmer to the image.  (you can hardly see this, but it is there..  I promise.)

Thanks for stopping by today.  :)  Have a great week end.

Loads of Love meets Basic Grey

Hi Everyone!

Happy Wednesday!  What?  I mean Thursday.  Seems like this week is going by slowly.  Tonight wasn't a night for cooking.  Honestly, I just didn't want to do anything.  :)  So...we ordered Mexican food for delivery (yummy) and when we got it, there was so much food, that hubby and I were stuffed.  We have had this flyer on the fridge for a few months and we finally decided to give it a shot.  We also decided that the next time we order from there that we are not going to order separately.  We will share what we have from here going forward.  :)

Let me stop blabbing about non-sense and get down to business.

On Saturday, I colored this truck from "Loads of Love" by Stampin' up! with my copic markers.  My friend suggested I go with a purple Truck.  Mind you, I haven't even picked out the paper yet.  So I had no clue where I was going with this purple truck.

The pattern paper is by Basic Gray, Last years Valentines Collection.  (The name escapes me right now).  The card stock is Stampin' Up!s Wisteria Wonder.  The seam binding ribbon is from my "seam binding" stash.  (which you already know is my favorite ribbon of choice..)  The spellbinder nest-abilities die is from their "Labels Nine" set.

What do you think?

Loads of love
I think it fell together quite nicely.

Thank you for stopping by today.  Have a great day!

Love

Hi Everyone,

Happy Tuesday.

I do have a card to show you today that I created a few days ago.  I was challenged by a friend to use this stamp set.  I didn't know what I was going to do with it.  I just new that I wanted to use the We R Memory Keepers 6 x 6 paper pack they have for Valentines this year.  (I believe it is called:  Love Struck)  The stamp set is by Stampin Up and I used Paper Trey Ink White Card stock for my stamping.

Valentnes 2

Tomorrow I'll be back with a post that I am going to start doing on Wednesdays, which will be my Project Life Scrapbook Pages.  I am really excited about that adventure.

On another note..  I am thinking about switching my Silhouette SD for the Silhouette Cameo.  I don't know.  Just something that I am toying with in my mind.  I am trying to figure out the difference between the two.  I think it is only the Cameo has a bigger mat than the SD.  We'll see.  :)

Well my friends,  I have to get back to work.  (gotta earn my keep.)  :)

Home is Where your Heart is...

Hi Everyone..  I wanted to show you my last class I had at Scrap-a-Doodle Doo in Ramsey, NJ.  This is a canvas that I altered with a few techniques.  It turned out so clean and crisp.  I love the clean look yet it is a little artsy.

Canvas 1
The blank white spaces that you see are there for space holders for small pictures to be added. (once I find some I'd like to put on there).  This project was fun to create and I really love it.  Cant wait to put it on the wall at home.

Have a great day everyone.  Thanks for stopping by..

Happy Valentines Day

Hi Everyone,  Happy Tuesday.  It is rainy here in New Jersey.  However the weather is still up and down.  Seems like Mother Nature can't make up her mind this year.  :)  I personally would love to see it snow and stick.. (shhh.  Don't tell anyone..  I think I am the only one that wishes that.)

For todays post I am going to share with you a single scrapbook page I did for Creative Kuts.

Jan 17 2011 blog project
All items are cut out using top of the line supplies.  The pattern paper I used is the New WRMK valentines collection.  I love how the little hearts glitter on the background paper.

Thanks for visiting.
