I did buy me 2 more book shelves for my Stamp/Scrap room at home.  I want to clean it up to make room.  I also bought another 3 drawer 12 x 12 rubbermaid to store my mounted rubberstamps in.  I am going to get down and dirty in my room tomorrow.  Wish me luck...

YAY! for the Mailman!

And_two_hearts Stamping Business:  This card was made with the Basic Grey Card Kit they came out with for Valentines.  Love their paper.  They make the best kind of prints!

Day to Day:  Didn't have a "stamping" Weekend.  Been busy with work and buying new curtains for the livingroom.  Had a great time putting them up.  Here is a good question for you:  How come when it comes to buying curtains I am hesitant, but when it comes to buying "stamps" or "scrapbooking" supplies to support my habit I have not problems just paying for them?

I had a wonderful Mail day on Saturday!  And then again today!  Saturday I received my wonderful "BELLA'S"...  About a month or so ago I joined a Spring Related swap that was hosted by Sarah Moore.  I will start to reveil the wonderful participants of that swap beginning tomorrow.

Have a Wonderful Bloggin' Day!

Hmmm....

Jealous???  Starbucks_coffee

Feel Better Soon!

Feel_better_soon I love my scallop punches!  They are absolutely the best.  My next favorite think is the polka-dot ribbon.  I HEART MAY ARTS!  This was a simple card to make.  I used the end of a pencil to do the black dots as my background.  Quick-Easy- and FUN!!!

I have been dying to do a "tri-fold" card.  I think I may do that today in my spare time.

The store is shipping up.  We are approaching our 1 year anniversary!  YIPPIE!  We cannot wait.  We have a lot planned for May.  May 5th is National Scrapbook Day!  We are having a Crop all day from 9am until midnight.  Lots of stuff planned..  games, fun, chocolate, food, free stuff!!!!  and the list goes on and on.

The following week end is when we are going to CELEBRATE IN STYLE!  Demo's, sales, make-n-takes, and what is a Celebrations without CAKE!

I got word on last Saturday that my "Bella" Stamp order shipped on Monday.  Well it is Friday and they still are not here.  WHERE ARE MY BELLA'S.....????  I have been trying to talk my self into getting the new paper trey stamp set.  Do I need them?  What a stupid question I am a "Stampaholic"  of course I need them.

OK I think I have blabbered enough this morning!  (well it is actually afternoon)  But it is morning somewhere...  Just not here.

Have a wonderful Bloggin' Day!

Thanks_alcohol_butterfly This card was a fun one to make.  I used Webster paper.  Which is the metalic paper.  (silver)  I used Tim Holtz Alcohol inks on the metalic paper.  And came out TIEDYE!  Nothing really fancy.  Just a fun technique!

Enjoy!

One of Kind

One_of_a_kind_piggie OK here is the last card for my Technique Class.  It is "Masking".  I love these little piggies.  I used the same color combo as this post.  The stamps are all Inky Antics except the "One of  Kind"  that one is MSE.  Card stock is various of what I have here.  And the ribbon is from my ribbon stash. I colored in the piggie and used gamsol to smooth out the coloring and I used Glossy Accents for the nose.  I sponged the edges with a rust colored ink.

Have a wonderful Bloggin' Day!

For You

For_you I think this card looks pretty cool.  It is using the Serigraph technique.  Using brayer and 4 different colors of ink.  I used Marvy's Matchables ink in mustard, yellow, pink and red..  Hero arts flower stamps, Rhonna Farrah flower stamp, the "For You" is a Studio G stamps.  The ribbon is red sheer and yellow polka dot.  I also used versamark and white embossing powder for the "white" flowers.  Card stock is bazzil and confetti white.

It is still raining here in Passaic, NJ.  I had an eery feeling and went to the store and sure-nuff it was Water in the basement.  I am afraid that I am going to have to go back into the store tomorrow and clean it up using my father-in-laws shop vac....  :(  Reminds me of when I was in the Navy that every timed it rained we had to soak up the water from the outside so it didn't sit on top of the non-skid for a long period of time.  I HATED THAT PART OF THE JOB..lol..  Nothing like "busy" work.

Old memories.  We won't get into them now.  Have a wonderful "bloggin" day!

Howdy

Turtle_howdy Yep you guessed it another stamp by Inky Antics.  This is one from their clear stamp designs.  The hat, turtle and skateboard are all different images.. I used a prisma colored pencil (mustard and lt brown) to do the base for the skateboard to skate on...  I used white gel pen to accent the images.  Glitter glue on top of the "ground".  and I used crystal lacquer for the turtle shell to add dimension.

DH is at his Naval Reserves Drill this week end,   so it is pretty quiet on the home front.  It is raining out today and it is a steady rain too.  Been raining since early this morning.

I have one more card to do for my Tuesdays Technique class.  And I am so looking forward to it.

Have a wonderful Sunday...  A great day to blog hop...  :)

Card Class

Butterfly_stationary_set_and_gift_b Ok as promised here is the rest of the class.  I got this idea from oodabug ally She did a tutorial last month I believe.  Everything coordinates together wht the butterfly and the dots.  The class was a huge hit...

I think my hubby fixed the website problem.  I guess I can't upload changes from my laptop.  It doesn't seem to want to work.    WWW.STAMPINGLYYOURSNJ.COM

I am working at the store today.  I have a couple of must have things to do but I want to do some creative work as well.  Business before pleasure.  What a bummer.  why not pleasure before business.  I guess you really wouldn't get anything done if it was that way around.  he he...

Have a Wonderful "Bloggin" Day!

Lovely Butterflies

1_butterfly_card Here is a card I did in tonights class.  I'll take pictures of the rest of the class stuff and put in my next post.  The paper used is Bazzill and the Butterfly stamps are by Savvy Stamps.  This is a whole stamp set.  It comes with 6 coordinating stamps.  The dotted background is by Outlines Rubber stamps.  The little butterfly in the center is stamped and the wings are cut out so that it adds dimension to the card.  The ribbon is a metallic sheer blue.  I used Versafine's Majestic Blue and a lighter cats eye blue for the background.

The class went well tonight.  We had fun.  The dotted background was a hit.  We are sold out at the store and I got preorders for more.  YIPPEE!!

I am having problems with our website tonight.  Hopefully hubby can figure it out.  Not sure what is going on with it.  Verry Frustrating.  Especially since I wasn't blessed with patience.

Kitty_in_bag_2

Here is a picture of Gato.  I was getting ready to go into the store last Friday and he jumped in my bag.  I guess he wanted to be the "shop" kitty.  I think he would go nuts he was at the store.  He is kinda shy around people he don't know.  He does love to aggravate his mommy.  I have to pretend to put food in his bowl so he will eat whats in there.  Silly Kitty..

Have a wonderful "bloggin" Day!

Three Little Piggies

Annas_3_little_piggies I just love Inky Antics rubber stamps.  They are so cute!  This is one little pig stamp that I stamped on one piece of CS twice with a little space in the middle and then masked out the piggies and stamped in the center.  On a separate piece I stamped him once and cut him out.  I colored them in with Prisma colored pencils and gamsol.  The cut out I used pop dots to have him stand out.  Used ribbon to tie around the tail.  (actually I just tied a knot in the ribbon and then cut it and attached with mini glue dot)  I then stamped in versamark on the rust paper and the khaki paper.  The rust paper I used the feed bag from Inky Antics.  And on the Khaki I used the cute little piggie again.  I attached all the pieces and then I put glossy accents on the nose to add dimension.

I know I have been MIA lately.  It seems like this month is filled with birthdays!  Last week was my husbands and yesterday way my nephew who turned 21.  We went to dinner with the family last night at a Mexican restaurant.  I chose the steak with rice other little sides and Sangria and I drank mostly water.  I had to be responsible!  he he...  the name of the restaurant is:  El Norte off route 46.

All tax paperwork is turned in.  (yes nothing like the last minute).  House is somewhat clean.  Clothes are washed and almost all folded..    DH has drill this week end so it will be me and the babies.  (dogs and cat...lol)  (yes they are my babies...)

I working at the store today.  So I hope to get some stuff done.  And I hope I can stamp some things too.  We will see.  I did bring my bag of tricks..lol  Stamping and scrapping tricks.  :)

Have a wonderful blogging day!  Talk to you soon!

Just Buggy....

Bug_hammock_1 Yesterday I didn't work at the store.  (Stampingly Yours)  My hubby filled in while I was away for the day.  He was a a great help.  I had to work at my day/part time job until 1pm and then my business Partner and dear friend Jeanne and I went to a stamp show in Pennsaukken.  (however you spell it..lol)  Mainly to see Inky Antics and friends.  We me the owner Tom.  Who we also met last year when we went to the same show just a different location.  He was kind enough last year to give us catalogs even though we didn't have any paperwork to show that we are a business..  And this year he let us pick right off the shelf.  What a nice company.  They are filled with so many samples that just makes you want to go home and create it just like they have it.  We had a great time.

The card above was CASED by one of their samples they had.  Today I just wanted to stamp and I didn't want to have to think up a design.  I am sure you all had those kind of days where you just wanted to create but not think think think..lol  Plus I had and still have a headache brewing in my head.  But I really wanted to stamp.

I bought some other stamps yesterday as well.  Wait until you see what I have in mind for them.
