2 Cute Rubber Stamps Pumpkin Card

Happy Thursday Everyone,

I know you are just as glad as I am that this week is almost over.  :)  This week has just been so draining with the hurricane, the flooding, and now the clean up.  But this too shall pass.  :)

On for today's card:

006
For today's card I decided to use Pumpkin Love by 2 Cute Rubber Stamps (digital).  I colored my image with colored pencils and used gamsol with a blending stump to blend it.  I punched out Bats with my Stampin' Up Bat punch and adhered glass glitter on top with glossy accents.  I absolutely love Glass Glitter.  It adds so much more "bling" than regular glitter does.  The paper is from Aunthentique 6 x 6 paper pad.  I tied some vintage seam binding ribbon around the laters and tied a button on top to add more color to my card.

I hope you enjoyed my card I created.  I'll be back tomorrow with a scrapbook page I put together last week-end  (before the flooding) :)

Have a great day!

2 Cute Rubber Stamp-Inspiration Thursday

Hi Bloggers, Stampers, Scrappers and Friends,

Today I am going to share with you a card I created for 2 Cute Rubber Stamp's

I am so excited about today's card.  I created this project using my Silhouette SD die cut machine.  :)  I am really loving this machine.  I haven't had it that long but I am finding that I am using it on a quite a few different projects already.  I hope you like what I came up with for today's card.  I know I used the same image on last weeks card but I wanted to show you how versatile it is.

003
Basic Instructions:  I cut out the following with my Silhouette SD Die cut Machine: (1) The Circle card base in Pear Pizzazz card stock by Stampin' Up!.  (2) The Scalloped circle in Blushing Bride by Stampin' Up!.  (3) The Gray Ring in Basic Grey Card stock from Stampin' Up.  I then embossed the cover of the circle card with Tim Holtz's Wood Grain Embossing Folder and I embossed the Pink Scalloped with the Swiss Dots from CuttleBug.  I used a 1/8 hole punch to punch out the circles in the scalloped pink to give it more of a doily kind-of look.  I printed my image on Papertrey Ink white card stock and then punched it out with a large circle punch.  I colored my image using my copic markers and then I took a "cupcake" from a sheet of "cupcakes" from Jolee's stickers.

I hope you enjoy my card today and be sure to check out the "Challenge" over at 2 Cute Rubber Stamps Design Team Blog

The Journey

Happy Hump Day!  Only 2 more days until I scrapbook with my friends at Scrap-a-Doodle-Doo.  :) Need to start page planning.  Its on my agenda for tonight.

Today's Project is one I did a short while ago.  It was a gift for a sweet friend, Sherri, for her Birthday.  I decided I wanted to make her a planner using one of our favorite paper lines.  Simple Stories.
Sherri 4

Sherri 1   Sherri 2

Did a little bit of sewing, fabri-tac-ing, and distressing.  So happy that she loved the planner.

Thanks for visiting my blog today.  ;)  Be sure to check back tomorrow for my 2 Cute Rubber Stamps Design Team card.

Have a great Day!

Two Cute Rubber Stamp: Anything Goes Challenge

Hi Bloggers, Stampers, Scrappers and Friends,

Happy Birthday To Me..  This card I created is a celebration for my birthday.  I knew I wanted something with a "cupcake".  Hope you enjoy.   :)

Today at 2 Cute Rubber Stamps Blog is their "Anything Goes" Challenge.

Come on over and join in the fun! You could be the lucky winner of some great 2 Cute Images! Above is my card for the challenge.

Hop over and see the other Design Team Members wonderful cards!!

001
This card above is using "Cupcake Kitty"Digital stamp.  I colored the image in with my copic markers.  I used an edge distress'er along the edges of the matting(s).  The base of this card came from a monthly card kit I get every month and this particular one didn't work with me the way it was originally designed.  So I altered it a bit to fit my needs.  I Love the use of "tulle" as a ribbon.  It is a great filler for any project you are working on.

I hope you all enjoyed the card I created and I want you all to have a great day!  :)

Summer Time

Happy Monday Everyone!

How was your week-end?  I woke up with a sore throat on Saturday but I did manage to scrapbook and stamp for myself for a change.  Which felt really good.  I took a nap and then hubby and I stayed up late watching "A Few Good Men", an oldie but a goodie.

4th july 2010 2
This page above was made using "Kiwi Lane Designs" templates and Close To my Heart paper and embellishments.  I thought the pictures worked really well with this line.  I can't wait until this saturday comes so I scrapbook some more with friends at "Scrap-a-Doodle-Doo".

Hope you like my page I am sharing with you today.  :)  Be sure to check back tomorrow for tomorrows share.

You're A Rock Star

Happy Friday!  :)  I am so happy that today is Friday.  It has been a long long week.

As many of you know, I create the "KISS" KOTM for Scrap-a-Doodle Doo in Ramsey, NJ.  It goes out the 15th of every month.  "KISS" stands forKeep It Simple Scrappin'The "KISS" kit will be a 2 page layout with simple instructions and a picture.   As a goal of mine, I am going to try to start adding the pages into my album every month and show you a different alternative for the pages and post them here on my blog as well as the Scrap-a-Doodle Doo Blog.  These kits sell for only $9.99 a kit.  There are only a certain amount of these kits available so be sure to snap yours up quickly or sign up to automatically get it every month.  You can do that either by going into the store to pick it up or by ordering it on line and they will mail it out to you if you live out of the area.

This picture below is using the "KISS" KOTM I created for the month of August.  I did alter mine a little bit to fit my needs.  Which is highly encouraged.  Since I didn't have 6 pictures I ended up punching out some stars with my star punch and added some buttons and bling to fill it in.  I did trace out the guitar and made me an extra one to go on the right side of my page.  If you notice, I did change my title up a bit.  Because I don't have children and this is my niece, It didn't sound right for me to put "my" in there.  So I added that "You're a Rock star"  which you have all the pieces in your kit that says "You are my Rock star".  So I just changed it up a wee little bit.

I also wanted to show you that this kit doesn't have to pertain to "guitar hero" or a "rock band" for that matter.  This just shows that she is a rock star in her own way.  She loves to model and just have fun.  She is a silly cute little girl.

I hope you like my page I created and I hope it inspires you to go out and get the "Rock star" Page kit from Scrap-a-Doodle Doo.

Dress form Canvas Class from July

Hi Friends,

Happy Sunday.  I personally wish I had another day for the week end.  :(  It should be mandatory that we have 3 day week ends here on out.  Just my 2 cents.

Today I want to share with you the Dress form Canvas Class I had in July.  Everyone loved the project which made me happy.  I love to share what I enjoy and teaching classes showing techniques is my greatest joy.  I can't take full credit for this class.  Stephanie, the owner of Scrap-a-Doodle-Doo, gave me the idea.  I just tweaked it a little.

CKC Recap and Castle Beach Album

We got back from CKC yesterday.  After I got into my car and drove home, I visited with my husband for a little bit.  Then I napped on the couch for a bit then I decided to head to bed to get a nice nap in.  I woke up about 8:00 pm.  Which I really enjoyed my lengthy nap.  Good thing I didn't have to go to work today until 1pm, as I ended up staying up too late.

CKC was an Amazing Experience.  WE had a blast the customers were fantastic and we just had a ball.  :)  Can't wait until next time.

The past few months was busy with prepping kits and getting our ideas all together.  Below is one of the items I created for CKC, which, by the way, sold out.  :)  Makes me happy.

Beach 1
