Good morning, fabulous friends and welcome to Amy Jo's Birthday Bash & Blog Hop! We are so excited you could join us today to help celebrate Amy's birthday!
This is a very special unique hop as we were not required to just stick with one particular subject or theme. Amy asked us all to use any of her favorite things to create a card or project with that in mind. Some examples of Amy's favorite things are the colors black, white, and hot pink, along with anything Alice in Wonderland, she listed some of her favorite animals, etc!
If you arrived here from NAOMI then you are in the right place! If you just happened upon my blog today, please start at the beginning with Amy Jo because you don't want to miss out on the fabulous prizes that are being sponsored!
This is a two-day hop; however, we are only making one project. That should give you two full days to go through the entire hop and leave comments on each blog and become followers of each blog, if you are not already, to be entered to win some of our sponsored prizes! Some blogs may be offering blog candy as well so this is a hop you're gonna wanna finish!
This card was used using all Stampin' Up! Products.
Thank you so much for joining us and helping us celebrate along with Amy! Your next stop is the talented Heather over at http://blessed2cre8.blogspot.com.
Be sure to leave a comment here and follow my blog to be eligible for the Blog Candy. :)

Hi Everyone,
TGIF!! We made it. lol :)
Yesterday was my weekly appointment with the "Fit Club" Personal Trainer Richie. I already feel the pain in my shoulders and my legs. :( Don't get me wrong, I am really enjoying it. I just wish that I didn't have this headache that is "brewing" right now. On a happier note. ITS FRIDAY.
I really love this card. It was inspired by my friend Karen. :) Thanks Karen!
Most of these stamps can be found in the Pink By Design store.
All the card stock is from Stampin' Up! as well as the ribbon. The background stamp is called Argyle by PBD. The sentiment is from a set called Animated Greetings 2 also by PbD. The Flower is from Outlines Rubber Stamps, and a stamp that I have had for a while now. I colored the flower in with copic markers and then it was cut out and pop dotted to add a little dimension. After the card is all put together I added a little glossy accents to the center and the edges of the flower. The way the card does not need to be touched until it is dried.
Thanks for stopping by today.

Hi Everyone,
Thank goodness this day is over. I had quite a busy day at work. And when I got home I didn't want to do anything. So, I am going to jump right into my card for the day.
Today's card is done using Recollection Stamp Set I got from Michaels a little while ago.
Hi Everyone!
Happy Hump Day! We were off on Monday and I can't wait until the week end already. :) Its really kind of sad.
Today I got some Happy mail. My Stamps came from Pink By Design. :0) I can't wait to sit down and create something with those. Ideas are already rolling in my head. lol
Today's card is featuring Paper Smooches. Isn't this sheep just adorable?
He was colored with my copics and then cutout to pop dot on top of the original image. I added some glossy accents around his "fluffiness". The Fence was cut using Tim Holtz boarder die and I used a fiskars punch for the grass.
Thanks for stopping by today. And I will catch you on the blog tomorrow.
Hi Everyone,
Hope you all had a great Presidents Day! :) It was a nice quite day in the Zuniga Household.
Today's card was made with Inky Antics Stamp set called "Birthday Elephant".
I colored the image in with my copic markers and then added some glossy accents to the hat to add some dimension. The balloon was used with the Inky Antics Light Blue Honeycomb paper pad. Instead of doing this on the crease of the inside of the card I wanted it on the outside.
I can't wait to give this to someone for their special day.
Hi Everyone,
On Friday I got one my packages from Pink By Design and Flying High was one of the 6 I got in the mail. :) So I decided Sunday I would do a little bit of stamping. I did watch Lifetime while watching it so I didn't get too much done because I was too busy watching the TV but I did manage to get a few cards made.
I thought this set looked very masculine. You know how hard it is to find a manly card much less a stamp set. So I had to give it a go. So the first thing I wanted to stamp was the Hot Air balloon, (I actually stamped it Saturday night because I just couldn't hold off anymore.) I pulled together my paper I wanted to use, which was the Paper Stack by Echo Park called "Times and Seasons" and then pulled my copic markers to color the image in. I did quite a few layers on the balloon itself. Then when I was done coloring I took my Spica pens and added a little bit of Glitz to the design. :)
If you look at the image above you will notice that my card is shorter ontop than it is on the bottom. I did this so my sentiment will stay on the "inside" of the card, so all I have to do is write something sweet.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. :)
Hi Everyone!
I am sort of dragging my feet today. This weather plus lack of sleep last night. I just couldn't go to sleep. I remember waking my husband up and telling him to stop snoring. lol Granted it wasn't that loud, but to my sensitive ears at 2:30 in the morning, I had just about enough. Instead of counting sheep I was counting snores...lol ha ha ha....
Today's project is for Creative Kuts2. This is the kit that Creative Kuts 2 is going to be selling. These Kits are all laser cut and ready to go. All you need is glue and a little bit of ink for the edges if you want to add more dimension.
All the candy nuggets on the inside are wrapped with coordinating paper to give it a little more of a festive look.
Next up on the agenda is my next class at Scrap-a-doodle-Doo.
SAVE THE DATE: March 2, 2012 6:30 - 9:00pm
More details coming soon.
Sample will be in the store tomorrow afternoon.
Be sure to stop by and take a look.
Call the store to reserve your spot: 201-818-7060

Hi Everyone! Happy Valentines Day to you! I hope you all have a wonderful day filled with lots of Joy and Love.
Today's project was inspired by Sarah Hamer from Pink by Design. She showed us all how to make this box on the U-Stream video this past Friday night. Here is my version of the box. I love love love it. I am not sure who will be getting this box but someone will. :)
What do you think?
The paper is by: Basic Grey "Kissing Booth" all the embellishments are from that line, except for the button, twine, and the glitter for the pinwheel.
Be sure to click on the images to make it larger.
I do have a video tutorial for this, but right now it is taking its sweet little time to load into You Tube. I'll post it as soon as it loads.
Have a wonderful day everyone! Lots of Love! :)

Hi Everyone. Hope you all had a wonderful week end. :) We sure did! As many of you already know Friday Night was the New Stamp Release Ustream party by Pink by Design. So I was so excited from the party and the new releases that I ended up staying up way tooo late. Which in return caused me to sleep until 1pm Saturday. I can't believe I did that. The last time that happened was while serving in the Military many years ago. Because of my little "sleep in" on Saturday, I stayed up until 5am on Sunday Morning because I just simply couldn't sleep. Needless to say that tonight is going to be an early night. (well it is 11:18pm as I am typing this...)
Because of my announcement on Friday Night I have had a lot of folks come by for a visit to see who I am all about. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for stopping by! I do hope you follow me on the right side of the page. And I do hope that you come back again. Maybe leave a little love comment. :)
Because of all of you! I wanted to make a little card for you! That says "You are the Best", because YOU ARE THE BEST!!! So here yo go..
The card base and the papers are all Stampin UP! The image is from Heartfelt Creations and the sentiment is from Technique Tuesday "Smooch" by Ali Edwards. I did add a little more ribbon with the Turquoise seam binding that was in my "seam binding" stash. (I will be adding more colors to my ETSY shop soon).
Thank you for stopping by today. See you on the Blog tomorrow. Wishing you all a great week ahead!
Hi Everyone!
Thanks for stopping by today and sharing my excitement for this new journey.
Happy Thursday Everyone.
I am actually typing this at 11pm on Wednesday night. AND IT'S SNOWING!!! :) I am a little sad that I don't have any snow pictures for this year. Today I did manage to do "a day in the life" that was inspired by Ali Edwards. I am going to do it in the form of a "Project Life" page. I'll keep ya posted on that. {Smile}
Today I am going to share with you a card from the past. I love owls. They are just so cute. This card was made using a stamp set from Stampin' Up's last years Sale-a-bration called Punch Bunch.
I really love the seam binding ribbon on this card. You just pull a string from the center of the ribbon and then it bunches up. I used Red Line Tape to go in a circle to hold it down to the card. The little owls are pop dotted up to give it dimension.
Thanks for stopping by today. :)
P.S. I got some news to share... Stay posted on Saturday.
Hi Everyone,
I hope you all had a great Super Bowl Week-End. Did anyone watch the Parade of Champions? I had the TV on but I muted the TV. From what I seen it was pretty good. A lot of talking for my taste though.
I don't know about you guys but I don't usually do any "get well" cards. I decided to add one to my stash. This one was inspired by the card that was designed by the ever so popular Jennifer McGuire. The stamp set I ordered directly from Paper Smooches and it is called Healthy Vibes. There is a lot of cute little "get well" stamps in this package.
I stamped the band-aid in Rich Cocoa on Shimmer Paper and colored the image with my copic markers. I colored the hearts on a different image and then cut it out to pop dot on the band-aid. The "Feel Better Soon" stamp was stamped all over the card with Crumb Cake ink (Stampin' Up) and then I went over the image in various areas with the Rich Cocoa Momento ink to make it pop off the page. After the card was put together I did go in and add glossy accents to the hearts to add more dimension. To add a softer look to the card, I sponged around the edges with the Crumb Cake ink pad. The little strip of "blue" was from some scraps I had from some left over Cosmo Cricket.
Thanks for stopping by today.
